A few weeks ago, my husband & I went on an adventure to South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. I have wanted to visit Yellowstone National Park… well, forever! So I was really excited. Add to this that we actually spent our first day at Yellowstone on my birthday. So, it was kind of, you know…perfect.
Yes, we saw bear and elk, antelope, longhorn sheep, prairie dogs and bison. Every day, everywhere, there were new and great things & wildlife to see. Old Faithful & all of the geothermal areas were pretty amazing. We went fly fishing in Yellowstone, hiking, and even horseback riding in the Badlands. The weather was perfect! It was everything I always hoped it would be.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I also noticed in the gift shops that many of the great gift ideas were the same manufacturers that we sell to our clients. Yellowstone gift shop shelves included Port Authority, Port & Company, Champion, New Era and Bella brands of apparel, as well as Pendleton blankets. There were Bella Canvas tees in a fly fishing shop we stopped at that were so soft!
All good brands. Many of the apparel and hats really stood out because of the decoration. There were lots of options, in nice color schemes with contrasting imprints. And some were just funny. They made for some great gift choices.
So I thought I’d mention this to you. For that special event this summer, talk with us about choices of fabric and colors. Let’s come up with a unique design that everyone will want to wear… & keep. Make your giveaways and gifts a little different this year with our help.
Oh, and definitely visit the parks this summer. Yellowstone is truly amazing! And if you’re in South Dakota, don’t miss Custer State Park – you will love it. BTW, July is National Park and Recreation Month, and this is the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. So it’s a good year to plan a trip…or two.
Enjoy the summer!
